Why Would an Organization Want or Need to Create a Soul?

If every interaction, day after day, is viewed as an opportunity to create a meaningful work environment, the possibilities for organizational soul will eventually take root. Those roots will provide the foundation for growth.

If an organization only focuses on taking what it can get out of people at any cost, the organization won’t have the slightest chance of creating a soul, independent of any words to the contrary. When words and actions are congruent, people are more motivated.
