But first… create!
Before you get stuck into this wonderful book about creativity in PR and communications, we’d like to make a suggestion: put the book down and create something.
The brief is simple: spend the next 20 minutes engaging in a hands-on activity of your choice that results in the creation of something new. It could be pretty much anything: drawing, baking, tapping out a tune on your knees (but ideally nothing requiring a screen, to avoid distraction). The purpose is not to produce a masterpiece but to open yourself to receiving new information. Who knows, you might even achieve the fabled ‘creative flow state’ (much more on that later in the book!).
