Abstract
The electric power system (EPS) is a critical subsystem of any satellite, including CubeSats. The functions are to generate, store, regulate, and distribute the electrical power that a satellite and its subsystems needs to fulfill the mission requirements. To design this system a good understanding of each of the key EPS elements and their behavior on orbit is required as well as tools that allow designers to iterate the design process.
