More and more people are using wireless LAN equipment in their businesses and homes. As this market becomes larger, it continues to drive down the cost of 802.11b hardware. This hardware cost reduction, in turn, reduces the cost of 802.11b equipment that is usable by WISPs. You might want to keep up to date on this trend because soon CPE will be available in the under-$200 price range, including a built-in antenna and power-over-Ethernet (PoE) capability.
