Printing large 3D models

Our duck is nearly 11-inches long. Our 3D printer has a 5.5 x 5.5-inch print bed. This means that we're going to have to print it in sections. Using the Boolean method (as we did earlier), we can cut our object into sections. But since this object is going to need to be water-tight, how do we do this?

Cyanoacrylate adhesives (CA) glue (basically, superglue) melts plastic together. It's great stuff. It's more like welding plastic than gluing it. So, in step one, we put a nice bead of glue on one of the two objects to be glued, and then just press them together for about 10 seconds. The glue dries up very fast.
