Creating Logos
In this chapter, you apply techniques you have learned in earlier chapters to produce some quasirealistic SVG Web page “furniture.” My aim is primarily to show you how to use those techniques and apply them to your own graphics design needs.
If you have followed the earlier chapters sequentially, you should have a grasp of the essentials of the structure of an SVG document: SVG graphics shapes, text layout, SVG gradients, filters, and animations. Now that I have covered those key aspects of SVG, you are in a position to create semirealistic images and put combinations of those technologies to work.
