I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Getting ready – some practical aspects
Most of the focus so far has been on responding to the brief, putting together a good presentation, making sure you are comfortable with it and coping with what you think you might have to deal with on the day. This isn’t the only part of presenting though. There are also some practical but very important preparations to be made, well in advance if at all possible. Let’s take a look at the things we need to do to get ready, starting with how you will look on the day.
Dress code
