Though an organisation may have sufficient internal skills and expertise to provide in-house DR, it should still have the relevant members of staff trained and certified on DR. Similar to Microsoft®, Novell, Cisco and other training and certification, DR training and certification is becoming popular, and even mandatory in many organisations. Such training provides organisations with international best practices and recommendations, case studies and methods to implement DR and BC. Secondly, it helps prevent an organisation from reinventing the wheel.
