DR and BC can be complex activities involving cost and effort. In order to get started it is necessary to first have a plan and an initial scope for the activities. A plan need not, and cannot, be accurate or detailed from day one. It evolves and matures over time, depending on experience, what is learned, roadblocks and mistakes.
