Abstract
Distributed trust, reliant on a group of people rather than a single entity, epitomizes a decentralized trust paradigm. Enabled by blockchain technology, it ensures security, immutability, and transparency. Through consensus processes and cryptographic procedures, participants’ confidence is fostered and sustained, facilitating secure and open communication. As distributed trust gains wider acceptance, it holds the potential to revolutionize industries, streamline processes, and foster international collaboration. A recording system that is distributed ledger technology (DLT), recording digital asset transactions, allows for simultaneous recording across multiple locations. DLT differs from traditional databases by lacking an administrative database and central features. DLT includes the technology architecture and rules facilitating simultaneous record update, validation, and access across distributed ledgers.
