I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
4.4 Choosing a Format, an Engine, and a Location for Templates
The templates we are going to build for our website will be written in HTML 5, which has become the standard markup language for webpages.

Other choices of markup language are HTML 4 and JSON. HTML 4 is still used on older sites, but HTML 5 is now widely adopted and is safe to use. JSON is used in the context of sites with powerful JavaScript front ends. Rather than retransmit the format of the page each time, some websites (like Twitter) opt to provide a single HTML page coupled with a JavaScript front end, allowing the website to transmit more compact data in the form of JSON.
