I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating new web servers for continuous deployment
In order to use CodeDeploy, the EC2 instances need to be running the CodeDeploy agent. This is normally done by downloading an executable from an S3 bucket that varies depending on the region your instances are in and running it. Conveniently, AWS also released a custom Ansible library, which will automate those steps. Because that library isn't part of the standard Ansible library, we first need to add it to our ansible repository.
