IN THIS CHAPTER

Session Beans are used to model and implement large-grained service-oriented objects. In contrast to Entity Beans, Session Beans tend to be more laden with behavior (manifested in methods) than with state. BookEaz’s system contains one such service-oriented object, the Checkout Session Bean.
