removing a section of insulation approximately 12 mm long in the centre of
the two unsheathed conductors. The two conductors and the bare earth wire
are then laid into the terminal slots, the bared ends of the spur conductors laid
on top of the appropriate main conductors and the screws firmly tightened.
All non-sheathed portions of the cables must be within the junction-box
