I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
About the Author
Carl Weisman attended the Pennsylvania State University where he earned a BSEE in 1980. From there he went to work for the Hughes Aircraft Company as a design engineer working on airborne radar for fighter aircraft. During his nine-year stay there, he was awarded a Hughes Fellowship which enabled him to earn an MSEE from the University of Southern California while working full time.
Mr. Weisman spent the next eight years working in sales and the marketing of RF and wireless hardware for several companies including Avantek-Hewlett Packard and M/A-COM-AMP. During this period he spent a great deal of time conducting product training for non-technical salespeople in the industry, which served as the inspiration for this book.
