When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
MetaMask
- Download MetaMask from https://metamask.io. It currently supports the Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Brave browsers.
- Create an account in MetaMask or import an existing account using the private key or seed phrase. If you are new to MetaMask, refer to the related recipe from the first chapter.
- If you do not have enough Ether in your MetaMask account, buy some from a cryptocurrency exchange. For testing purposes, it is recommended to use a private or test Ethereum network.
Do not send Ether directly from an exchange to an ICO. Most exchanges do not support buying tokens through a crowdsale and you won't be able to recover the tokens. It is recommended to use your own wallet.
