How to do it…
- Let's try registering a name in the ENS for learning purposes. First, download the test helper file (https://github.com/ensdomains/ens/blob/master/ensutils-testnet.js) for the initial bootstrapping process. The file contains contract definitions and Ropsten testnet addresses for easy interaction. Use this file only for testing purposes.
ENS is already deployed in the Ethereum main and test networks. You can find them at the following addresses:
