In this chapter, you've learned how to make your packages more reliable. This is primarily done through event handlers and by the two restartability features: transactions and checkpoint files. Event handlers trap events like errors and warnings, and execute a control flow for each event. Checkpoint files enable you to restart a package at the point of failure, and scoped transactions selectively roll back any data changes.
With your package now ready for the enterprise, Chapter 8 discusses how to deploy your packages and how to handle the various software environments like Development QA and Production.
