ARTICLE I. NAME
The name of this corporation is THE ABC EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION (“the Foundation”).
ARTICLE II. OFFICES
SECTION 1. EXECUTIVE OFFICE The executive office of the Foundation is hereby fixed and located at______. The Board of Trustees is hereby granted full power and authority to change from time to time said executive office from one location to another. The location of the executive office of the Foundation need not be in the state of California. Any such change shall be noted in the By-Laws by the Secretary, opposite this section, or this section may be amended to state the new location.
SECTION 2. OTHER OFFICES Other business offices may at any time be established by the Board of Trustees at any place or places where the Foundation is qualified to do business.
ARTICLE III. PURPOSES AND POWERS
SECTION 1. PURPOSES The Foundation is a nonprofit public benefit corporation and is not organized for the private gain of any person. It is organized under the California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for public and charitable purposes to do the following:
- Broaden participation in and access to higher education within the State of California.
- Promote a better understanding of the community's role in improving access to higher education.
