So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

I was brought up in a flat at Notting Hill Gate in London by my mother and my granny. My father was an RAF pilot but he was killed a few months before I was born. My mother worked at the Ministry of Defence – I never managed to discover much about what she really did, but knew that her knowledge of the main European languages (having been born and educated in Switzerland) was quite a significant aspect. ...
