It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 2. Tivoli Workload Scheduler V8.3: Master prerequisites 15
At a minimum, DB2 UDB requires 256 MB of RAM. If you use the graphical
user interface (GUI) tools, we recommend 512 MB of RAM memory.
Tivoli Workload Scheduler performs the compact DB2 installation, which does
not include GUI tools.
Ensure that you enable Asynchronous Input/Output (AIO). This is necessary
for successfully installing DB2 UDB. You can enable and disable AIO at run
time by issuing the db2set command.
