Sample source selection statement
On 4 July 1776, the Source Selection Board tasked with evaluating proposals to provide accommodation and subsistence services for forces of the Colonial Continental Army appeared before me to report their findings.
The SEB reported that four firms submitted proposals. One of the firms, Little Chef, was disqualified as being English and therefore did not satisfy the pre-qualification criteria.
The other three firms whose proposals were evaluated and considered were:
McDonald’s.
Hilton Hospitality.
Virginia Hams.
The weighted evaluation criteria set forth in the invitation to tender were:
15% experience providing accommodation;
