Appendix B
Procurement plan template
The procurement planning process outlines what is to be procured, when and from whom. During this process the procurement method is assigned and the procurement workload allocated. A procurement plan is not complete without a detailed schedule and most importantly the need the procurement is designed to satisfy. The procurement plan should be reviewed and approved by the bill payer, the sponsor, the procuring officer and staff, and stakeholders who will be involved in proposal evaluation and contract management.
The end objective (to satisfy a defined need).
