So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

No matter how powerful your web framework, or how well-documented it may be, and independent of all of those tutorials, tips, and blog posts you find on the web, there is no replacement for a book that thoroughly introduces you to the topic. For many years Grails in Action has been the guide for the growing number of Grails developers.
Whenever I visit a team that uses Grails I look around to see what books they have available, and I’m always delighted to see Grails in Action, since I can rely on the solid foundation they got from the book, and I can easily refer to it for best practices and background knowledge.
