Abstract
Blockchain is one of the current innovations that have been hailed as the present breakthrough solution in various fields. It is characterized as a decentralized, distributed ledger that aims at providing transparency and security in a decentralized way in maintaining of transaction records. The organization of transactions is considered one of the essential and fundamental concepts in the context of blockchain systems. This chapter explains and analyzes the use of graph theory to model transactions occurring across blockchain networks, as well as providing an understanding of the processes that take place, as well as suggestions of how to improve blockchain scalability, efficiency, and also the security of blockchain networks.
