26A Graph-Based Analysis of Digital Payments and Digital Technologies

Abstract

The ability to make payments anywhere, at any time, with a digital payment method appears simple, practical, and adaptable. It is possible to think of cashless payments as an improvement over conventional payment methods that speed up the transaction cycle. Several studies show that India is transitioning to a cashless economy. But as of right now, not many more customers are using digital payments due to lack of trust, technical expertise, infrastructure, security, fear, habits, etc. Hence, the current investigation was conducted to determine the cause of the low usage of digital payments. The study’s findings show that cumbersome processes, an absence of modern software and technology, limitations on money transfers, etc., restrict customers from utilizing digital payments.
