Importing more data

There is always a need to push more data to your index—your application grows, the storage of your documents becomes bigger and bigger, especially if you are creating a document repository, and you would like to be able to find what you are searching for even in the most recent documents. In fact, there are two options to add data to your index:

• The push model
• The pull model

We will cover both of them in the following sections.
