I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating an Azure Event Hub in the Azure portal
To create an Azure Event Hub, we will start, as in most cases, by clicking on the + Create a resource button. Enter Event Hub and select the service from the search results. Here, you can see an example of a configuration of my Event Hub instance:
Let's globally now focus on what we actually have here:
- Name: This is the unique name of your Event Hub instance. Note, it has to be unique among all others supported by Azure.
