So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The Twelve-Factor App methodology
In 2011, the Heroku founder Adam Wiggins published the Twelve-Factor App methodology, which soon became a key reference for building Software as a Service (SaaS) based on their own experiences. This methodology is not exclusive to any programming language but is compatible with a microservices architecture and is based on containers and CI/CD pipelines. Let's take a look at the 12 factors:
