I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Deploying the project on-premises
We're now ready to deploy and test our project on our local server:
- From the Solution Explorer, right-click on the project, WWImportersDaily, and choose Deploy. The Integration Services Deployment Wizard appears, as shown in the following screenshot.
- Click Next to proceed to the next step:
- Connect to your SQL Server, where the integration services catalog was created before, and click Browse.... The Browse for Folder or Project window will open.
- Expand SSISDB, and select the DWDailyRefresh folder. We created that folder earlier.
- Click OK to close that window:
- Back on the Select Destination window, click ...
