So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Sample databases
The first step is to set up sample databases. For this to happen, we need to install SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). This program is freely available from Microsoft at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/ssms/download-sql-server-management-studio-ssms.
Starting SSMS, connect to your server and right-click on the Databases folder in the Object Explorer. Select Import Data-tier Application... from the contextual menu, as shown in the following screenshot:
The Import Data-tier Application wizard will open. Click on Next.
