Several indoor localization technologies have been proposed to date based on measuring techniques such as ultrasound, infrared, image, light, magnetic field, and wireless signals. For example, Bluetooth low energy (BLE)-based indoor localization has been attracting increasing interest because it is low-cost, low-power consumption, and has ubiquitous availability on almost every mobile device.
