When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Running the application
For the change we just made to take effect, we need to stop and restart our containers:
- On your Terminal, type exit to exit the php-fpm bash.
- Now, at the root of the chapter-04 folder, still in the Terminal, type the following command:
docker-compose kill
You will see the following output message:
Stopping chapter-04-webserver ... doneStopping chapter-04-mysql ... doneStopping chapter-04-php-fpm ... done
- On your Terminal, type the following command to run the containers again:
docker-compose up -d
Now, we can see that the php-fpm container was recreated and will reflect our changes:
Recreating chapter-04-php-fpm ... doneStarting chapter-04-webserver ... doneStarting chapter-04-webserver ... done
