I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Checking API URLs with the Swagger UI
After all of this boilerplate code, it is time to test the API and see all the work we have done in this chapter come to life:
- Open Terminal and type the following command:
php artisan l5-swagger:generate
Don't forget to go into the php-fpm containers bash with the following command: docker-compose exec php-fpm bash.
- Open your default browser and go to http://localhost:8081/api/documentation.
We will see the following result with all the APIs documented properly:
