It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating a layout component
For the last step of this section, we will create a layout component for the main navigation of our app. Note that, this time, we will only create the component itself, without the module and route.
Still in your Terminal window, type the following command:
ng g c layout/nav
The preceding command will generate the following structure:
