I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Angular service – workers in action
Now, it's time to start the application generated inside the ./Client/dist/Client folder, to see the service work in action. Don't worry about this path for now; later in the book, we will change it:
- Open your Terminal window inside the ./Client/dist/Client folder, and type the following command:
http-server -p 8080
Remember that we installed the HTTP server in the previous chapter; if you haven't done so, go to https://www.npmjs.com/package/http-server and follow the installation process.
- Open your browser at http://localhost:4200/.
- In the browser, open the web inspector panel and click on the Application tab menu.
You will see the following:
