It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using a MySQL external client
Managing a database entirely using the command line may not be an easy task, and, visually speaking, it is not. To assist us in this process, all databases have a tool for this task, and MySQL is no different.
There are several open source and multi-platform tools that help us in this process, and MySQL has its own tool called Workbench.
