It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

A picture is worth a thousand words. You must have heard this adage before. This adage is relevant in the world of data analytics. The importance of data visualization isn't ebbing but is on the rise considering that most institutions have big data but are grappling with how to best use it. One of the major hurdles in using big data to its full potential is figuring out what the underlying data is telling you. To convey insights from the data, visualization plays a key role.
