So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
In this chapter, you learned that you can have a traditional wired network, a wireless network, or a combination of the two. You learned that each type of network has some strengths and some weaknesses that you should consider when choosing your home network. You saw that various pieces of hardware are necessary to create a network and that a network also has a software component. At this point, you have a basic understanding of how a network functions so that you can move on and start making some choices.
