It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Making Sure It All Works Together: It Depends on Your Connections
It's probably safe to assume that if you want to set up a home network, you have some type of Internet connection available. If you do, one of the purposes for installing your home network is probably to allow that Internet connection to be shared on your network. This sharing of an Internet connection has a direct influence on your choice for at least one piece of your network hardware.
