Ignite-UX is a versatile product. It has a great deal of functionality associated with it that would take an entire book to cover. This chapter covers what I believe to be the two major functional areas of Ignite-UX:
Network installation of client, or target, systems from a server that has on it software depots. These depots are usually created by copying software from media and other sources into depots on the Ignite-UX server. This is somewhat the same as the software installation covered in Chapter 3, “Installing HP-UX,” except that the software is on a server rather than media.
