So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Introduction
This chapter is an introduction to performance analysis. Don't think of using this as a guide to perform detailed performance analysis. For that, you need: HP-UX 11i Tuning and Performance (2nd Edition) by Robert F. Sauers. Mr. Sauers' book provides both the background in performance analysis as well as the tools required to perform detailed performance analysis.
This chapter provides an overview of many commonly used commands for analyzing performance as well as an introduction to GlancePlus/UX (GlancePlus).
