I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The last few years have resulted in quite a bit of change for anybody involved in the world of IT or IT management. There has been a lot of the usual technology change, for many business has gotten more dynamic than ever and management expects IT capacity to change overnight. There is also increasing pressure to reduce IT operating costs with all kinds of options being considered. The September 11, 2001 attack has forever changed how we think about security. On top of all of that, auditors are giving advice based on different interpretations of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
