I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
CHAPTER 6: ISO 9000 AND THE FUTURE
Historically, the development of ISO 9001 goes through a cycle of review and revision that up until now, have taken some six to eight years to complete (1987 – 1994, 2000, 2008, 2015), so it is likely that the next version will not appear for at least another five years – according to ISO/TC 176. In the second quarter of 2021, the results of public polling and a feedback review resulted (by a narrow margin) in the decision to maintain the 2015 version, unchanged.
Despite ISO 9001 being intended as a ‘one-size-fits-all’ set of quality management requirements, some industry-specific supply chain documents have appeared, notably IATF 16949 (automotive industry) and AS9100, AS9110, and AS9120. The railway and petroleum ...
