12.1 Installing CGI ODWEK on Windows
The simplest implementation of ODWEK is through Common Gateway Interface
(CGI). This is because the CGI setup does not require a Java application server;
only an HTTP server is needed (see Figure 12-1). If you are new to ODWEK, a
quick way to get started is to implement ODWEK using the CGI Application
Programming Interface (APIs) and HTTP. This simple implementation can help
you understand the structure of ODWEK and see how all of the parts interact.
We go through all the API sets in the following sections from A-Z as if you are
