Addendum: For Mac Excel Users

Introduction

We are well aware of the fact that some UX departments run exclusively on Macintosh computers. Thus, we have included this addendum for you Mac folks out there who want to use the techniques described in this book.
The biggest immediate difference you will notice between the PC and Mac versions of Excel is the absence of the Analysis Toolpack in the Mac version. As a consequence, some of the more advanced statistical features (like ANOVA) are missing from out-of-the-box Excel 2011 for Mac.
However, these advanced features are easily accessible for free by downloading StatPlus from AnalystSoft at http://www.analystsoft.com/en/products/statplusmacle/.
