Optimizing the Radio Resource Management Parameters on Node B When Interfacing to an Active DAS, BDA, LNA or TMA

When connecting any external uplink or downlink amplifiers to node B, you will offset the UL and DL. It will be necessary to evaluate and adjust the basic power control, system-info, noise and timing parameters in the BSS system in order to optimize the performance of an indoor active DAS system. If the parameters in the radio access network (RAN) (node B and RNC) are not tuned to cope with the offsets in DL power, noise load and timing offset, there will be a serious impact on the performance of the indoor system.
