Conclusion
The studies we conducted are aimed at improving the theoretical basis for design of
ventilated suction hoods used for bulk material transfer groups (i.e., the most typical
and common sources of dust emissions in dust-forming material reprocessing). The
basic ndings and resulting conclusions are as follows:
1. Aerodynamically, bulk material streams belong to a class of two- component
ows with a discrete carrying medium of solid particles falling at a growing
