Once upon a time, a very, very long time ago, the Internet was composed of homepages. These one-page sites introduced a company or a person, told a little about the subject, and offered a link to email the proprietor. It took only one person to write, design, and code this site, and it was easy.
Flash forward a few years, and everything we can imagine is online: million-page newspaper sites, online calendars, photo galleries, and shopping malls. Huge teams of specialists are building these sites with experienced designers, engineers, writers, and producers.
