Mastering anything takes practice. I find it’s often easier to break things down into smaller parts and then put them all together. Before you begin the projects, I would recommend working through these techniques as a way of getting to know the ink, how it behaves, and the combination of ink and water on the page. It may be helpful to watch me as I practice each of these techniques, so I’ve included a QR code that links to a helpful video. Remember that repetition is everything—keep practicing, keep playing, and keep experimenting with different techniques purely for the purpose of discovering more about the ink.
